One voice for the state's horses.
One industry, many interests. A shared future of land and open space.
Thoroughbreds, Standardbreds, sport horses, riders, breeders and the businesses that support them, all under one platform. Because the future of our industry depends on working together.

Why the Alliance exists
After 50 years of horse farming, I believe that the future of our industry depends on our ability to work together.
The Horse Alliance was created from that belief and from a desire to bring all stakeholders together under one platform. Whether your involvement is with Thoroughbreds, Standardbreds, sport horses, recreational riding, breeding, training, ownership, or the many businesses that support our industry, we all share a common commitment to the horse.
Our goal is to create a place where individuals, organizations, and businesses can connect, exchange ideas, identify opportunities, and work toward shared interests.
Small groups, one loud voice.
New Jersey has more horses per square mile than any other state, according to the Rutgers Equine Science Center. But horse people here are spread across dozens of breeds, clubs and farms. On their own, each group is easy to overlook. Together, they're a community the whole state has to hear.
Bring every breed together
Standardbreds, Thoroughbreds, Quarter Horses, ponies and everything in between. Breed associations, clubs, farms, rescues and riders, all in one place and pulling the same way.
Speak as one
Farriers, vets, trainers, feed stores and the farms themselves. Show the public and local officials how many New Jerseyans count on horses, and why.
Keep the land open
Horse farms keep fields, pasture and trails green. Keep the horses here and the land stays open with them.
Figures from the Rutgers Equine Science Center, New Jersey Equine Industry, 2007, the most recent statewide study.
That's what horses add to New Jersey's economy every year, by Rutgers' count. Losing the farms means losing that too. Why it matters
